When you run more than one venue, Crewo's cross-site dashboard shows the combined wage bill, the busiest days and where staff are shared. Availability and holiday, on the same grid

Staff set the days they can and cannot work from their phone. Holiday requests land in a single inbox, and once approved they are painted straight onto the rota, so the person planning next week does not have to remember them. If a shift clashes with someone's availability or holiday, Crewo flags it before you publish.

Under-worked staff and over-worked staff are both visible in the totals column, so you can balance the week without a separate spreadsheet.

Swaps that stay on the record

When a staff member cannot do a shift, they can offer a swap to a colleague. Both sides accept, a manager approves, and Crewo updates the rota and the wage bill in one go. You never have to piece together a paper trail after the fact, because the trail was built as it happened.

One-click payroll export

When the pay period ends, one click gives payroll a clean file with actual and rostered hours per staff member. Clock-in, compliance and calm

A QR-based time clock captures actual start and end times, flags anomalies, and feeds the same wage engine. National Minimum Wage bands are calculated from each staff member's date of birth and flagged automatically, which we explain in more detail on the minimum wage compliance page.

The overall goal is not more dashboards. It is a calm, one-screen picture of the week, with the numbers underneath that let you plan honestly.

Can I plan shifts across more than one site?

Yes. On the Group plan, Crewo covers your first 3 sites and you can add up to 6 more at a fixed monthly price per site. You get a cross-site dashboard, a combined wage bill and the ability to move staff between sites without duplicating records.

How do staff request holiday and set availability?

Staff request holiday and set availability from any phone. Managers see requests in one inbox, approve or decline in a tap, and the answer is reflected on the rota grid immediately, before the next week is drafted.

Can staff swap their own shifts?

Yes. Staff can propose a swap with a colleague; the swap goes through only when both people and a manager have said yes. Every swap is recorded, so you always know who worked what.

How does payroll export work?

One click produces a payroll-ready file with actual and rostered hours per staff member, using the true wage bill including employer NI, pension and holiday accrual. Included in the Pro and Group plans.

Is there an app to download?

Not yet — Crewo is a web app today, so there is nothing to install from an app store to get started. Managers and staff both use the same web app on any phone, tablet or laptop, and it can be pinned to a home screen if that is your preference.
