Connect your AI assistant to Crewo

Add Crewo to ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant and it can look up your shifts, check your holiday requests and book time off for you, in plain conversation.

Connect

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT settings, Apps and turn on Developer mode, reading the risk notice ChatGPT shows there. If you can't see it, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. 2Open the New plugin dialog.
  3. 3Type Crewo as the name and paste the address above into the URL field.
  4. 4Check the details, tick I understand and want to continue (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connection), then select Create.
  5. 5Turn Crewo on from the chat box, then ask it about your shifts.

Claude

  1. 1Open the Add custom connector dialog in Claude, prefilled with the name and address.
  2. 2Check the details and select Add.
  3. 3If the prefilled form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name it Crewo and paste the address above.
  4. 4Turn the connector on from the chat box, then ask Claude about your rota.

Claude Code

  1. 1Run this in a terminal:claude mcp add --scope user --transport http crewo 'https://crewo.co.uk/mcp'
  2. 2Start Claude Code and run /mcp to check Crewo is connected. It will ask you to sign in from that menu if needed.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code about your shifts or holiday.

Other AI assistants

  1. 1Open your assistant's connectors or MCP server settings.
  2. 2Create a new remote connection.
  3. 3Name it Crewo and paste the address above.
  4. 4Finish any sign-in prompt.
  5. 5Turn the connection on, then ask the assistant about your rota.

Refresh after Crewo changes

Assistants remember what Crewo could do when you first connected. When we add something new, refresh the connection.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open the Plugins page and select Crewo.
  2. 2Scroll to Information and select Refresh.
  3. 3ChatGPT can't change an existing address. If the address above has changed, delete the plugin and add it again.
  4. 4Start a new chat and ask it to use Crewo.

Claude

  1. 1Open the Connectors page and select Crewo.
  2. 2Refresh or update the connector.
  3. 3If the address has changed, remove the connector and add it again.
  4. 4Ask Claude to use Crewo.

Claude Code

  1. 1Start a new Claude Code session, it picks up the latest on connecting.
  2. 2If the address has changed, run claude mcp remove crewo then run the install command above again.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code to use Crewo.

Other AI assistants

  1. 1Open the connection settings for Crewo.
  2. 2Refresh the connection or reload it.
  3. 3If the address has changed, paste the latest one from above.
  4. 4Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use Crewo.
